CHICAGO – (November 13, 2018)—DRI –The Voice of the Defense Bar (DRI), which maintains a vast database of expert witness material for more than 65,000 plaintiff and defense witnesses for its 20,000 members, has joined with Courtroom Insight of San Ramon, California to create an enhanced expert witness program. Courtroom Insight (http://www.courtroominsight.com) offers a leading knowledge management program that enables users to capture, share and analyze critical information about expert witnesses, arbitrators and judges.
“The addition of the Courtroom Insight platform allows DRI members to obtain critical information about expert witnesses early in the process,” said Deputy Executive Director Tyler Howes. “This includes Courtroom Insight sourced material such as biographies, challenge data and expert testimonial histories, providing DRI members with a powerful resource.
Under the terms of the agreement, the parties will develop an enhanced version of the Courtroom Insight platform designed specifically for the defense practitioner. In addition to Courtroom Insight’s large document repository, this new offering will include documents from DRI’s Expert Witness Database. To facilitate ease of use, the Courtroom Insight platform and DRI’s website will be seamlessly connected enabling users direct access to thousands of expert documents and reports.
DRI will continue to allow its members access to its proprietary expert witness content at no cost. Additional Courtroom Insight services, such as public reviews, Daubert Tracker Challenge data, and judicial opinions may be purchased for an additional fee.
