About the Committee
The External Policy Alliance Committee (EPAC) is the embodiment of the belief that ambitious goals can be attained, and formidable obstacles overcome, through unified action with affinity groups that believe in the maintenance of a strong and fair civil justice system. The External Policy Alliance Committee identifies organizations with whom we share basic characteristics and interests and to nurture a relationship based upon an expectation of mutual assistance where appropriate and feasible.
No permanent alliances between DRI and the external affinity groups are foreseen or intended. Rather, the groups will come together in an ad hoc manner to address specific issues in which the sides have a common interest.
