Law Practice Management
About the Committee
The Law Practice Management Committee provides information and resources to DRI members to aid in managing their law practices, from inception to winding up. We provide practical and achievable methods to DRI members in both large and small firms for improving the business side of the practice of law. Committee members regularly prepare articles, give talks to defense lawyer groups and participate in dial in committee calls and webinars on topics of current and ongoing interest to lawyers with management responsibilities. Active members of the committee include current law firm managers as well as practice group leaders and prospective law firm managers who wish to become acquainted with management issues before assuming management responsibilities. Our committee works with other substantive law committees who seek speakers and materials regarding how best to manage practices in specific areas. We look to other DRI Committees for information in their respective areas of law practice that may assist our committee members to improve management skills.
