Legal Publishing Leader Bill Carter To Give Keynote Address at DRI’s Managing Partners and Law Firm Leaders Conference

CHICAGO ­– (June 14, 2017) — DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar announced today that Bill Carter, President and CEO of ALM since March of 2012, will give the keynote address at DRI/The Remsen Group’s September Managing Partners and Law Firm Leaders Conference. Carter has championed growth, diversification and organizational efficiency since joining ALM. ALM owns 30+ publications including, The American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel, Law.com, Legaltech News, Legal Week, The National Law Journal, New York Law Journal, and others. Carter joined ALM from Thompson Reuters where he was senior vice president of the Small Law Business Unit and led its successful reorganization and growth. An accomplished expert in the digital and legal services industry, he has also driven significant value creation as a senior executive at LexisNexis, Epiq Systems, Gerson Lehrman Group and GES Exposition Services.

Carter holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

DRI’s Managing Partners and Law Firm Leaders Conference, which is co-hosted with TheRemsenGroup of Atlanta, will be held on September 14th - 15th at the Gwen Hotel, in Chicago, IL.
