Whether you toured the National Zoo or are just getting into town, please join us for some food and drinks with other conference colleagues on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Grand Central Restaurant, Bar & Sportsbook in Adams Morgan -  a short 0.5 mile walk from our Washington Hilton Seminar location.

Monday DRI For Life Run/Jog/Walk
Time: 7:30 a.m.

Do you feel like you’re going to need to exercise before settling in for 2 ½ days of excellent CLEs and networking? Well, we have you covered. Please join your fellow DRI Employment and Labor Law Seminar attendees on Monday morning (5/20) for a walk/jog/run around the National Mall. Participants should meet in front of the hotel at 7:30 am on Monday. After meeting up, we’ll make our way to the National Mall, walking to the DuPont Circle subway station, which is about a 10-minute walk.  From the DuPont station, we’ll exit via the subway at the Smithsonian stop, where we’ll break up into three groups depending on your desired activity level. Subway fare is $2 per trip. We look forward to seeing all of you at the Employment and Labor Law Seminar and engaging in a fun activity to further explore the city.

Blessings in a Backpack Who Will Feed the Kids this Weekend?

Please join us in supporting Blessings in a Backpack, an organization that mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Seminar attendees will have the opportunity to fill bags of food on the way to the joint networking lunch on Tuesday, May 21. Feeding a child before you feed yourself is a wonderful way to support children and families in the Washington, D.C. community.
