As federal courts interpret the MSP Private Cause of Action, the number of claims asserted against liability insurers continues to increase. You get to ensure the appropriate affirmative defenses are raised, conduct discovery necessary for your strategy, and file the motions you feel appropriate. But what if you haven’t had the case from the beginning? Coming into a case mid-stream, or just before trial, can be filled with challenges. This presentation will discuss the differences in trial practice when one is parachuted in as trial counsel, how to effectively prepare your defense strategy and how to roll with brand new, but nearly fully developed case.

Do I have to register for the webinars?

Yes. Once you have registered, you will need to log into your DRI Virtual Learning Center account to access materials, CLE certificates, and the link to attend.

What if I register but miss the live event?

For everyone registered, the On-Demand version will appear in their account 2-3 days after the event!

Can I still get CLE credit if I watch the On-Demand version?

Yes! The on-demand version will be in your account for 30 days. If the course is not completed in that time, you can go back into the DRI Learning Center and add the On-Demand version of the program to your cart and checkout free of charge.

Can non-DRI members attend? Is it free?
