Mary Adams, RN, MSN-Nurs. Ed, CLNC recently joined Genesis in Kennett Square, PA, after16 years at Pruitt Health in Norcross GA. Mary has over 18 years in the long-term care industry, in addition to her experience as an ER, ICU, and Orthopedic post op Nurse. Mary oversees the risk management team to prevent and mitigate risk and provides support throughout the Genesis network of healthcare centers. She has an extensive background in claims review, managing discovery request, investigating claims, assisting attorneys with litigation matters, and is known for being an advocate for nursing documentation education. Mary collaborates with other divisional support teams within Genesis regarding legal, regulatory, and risk mitigation issues. She spends most of her spare time with her grandsons; however, she still finds time to act as a mentor and encourage teenage girls and young women seeking a career in nursing. Mary is a Certified Forensic Nurse Consultant and Legal Nurse Consultant. She is also a registered nurse in the state of Georgia and holds a Master's Degree in nursing education.

He is a first chair trial lawyer who has tried significant cases to verdict in both state and federal courts.
