Judy Bares As VP Claims for IronHealth, Judy oversees the pending of Long Term Care Liability and Miscellaneous Medical Facilities Liability Claims. As part of the IronHealth Claims team Judy provides brokers and insureds with first in class claims handling service. The IronHealth Claims team also proactively assists IronHealth's underwriting, actuarial and finance teams through two fundamental activities: Informing the transactional underwriting process and Continuously evaluating the claims environment.


Ken Broda-Bahm, PhD
Persuasion Strategies

Ken Broda-Bahm, PhD has provided research and strategic advice on several hundred cases across the country for the past twenty years, applying a doctorate in communication emphasizing the areas of legal persuasion and rhetoric. As a tenured Associate Professor of Communication Studies, Dr Broda-Bahm has taught courses including legal communication, argumentation, persuasion, and research methods. He has trained and consulted in nineteen countries around the world and is a past President of the American Society of Trial Consultants.


Nancy K. Caron

Nancy K. Caron leads the Aging Services, Allied Health Providers, Dental and Initial Solutions teams within the CNA Healthcare Claim organization. These teams are responsible for handling all professional liability claims within these segments and vary from claims involving individual healthcare providers to suits against large senior living insureds. Prior to joining CNA in 2011, Nancy worked for over 15 years for a large insurance company where she held various leadership positions including Vice President of Claim. Nancy also practiced law in Chicago for several years with a nationwide practice focusing on insurance coverage disputes as well as the defense of insureds in professional liability and general liability matters.

Laura D. Eschleman is a partner at Nall & Miller LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. She is licensed in Georgia, Alabama and Missouri and has defended health care professionals and entities in medical malpractice cases, direct corporate liability claims, product liability cases and board licensing matters in 28 different states. Laura has tried several medical malpractice cases to successful jury verdict in multiple states. In addition, Laura represents healthcare providers in Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance company audits. Laura is AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012 through 2018 in medical malpractice defense. Laura was the Program Chair for the 2017 DRI Medical Liability & Health Care Law Committee's seminar and was recognized with the Albert H. Parnell Outstanding Program Chair Award in 2017. Laura additionally serves as the Women in the Law Substantive Law Committee Liaison for that Committee and is a member of the DRI for Life Steering Committee and DRI Women in the Law Committee's Marketing Subcommittee.

Ashlee is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and Duke University. She was a State Registered Nursing Assistant until 2017.
