Franklin L.(Frank) Best, Jr., is the managing corporate counsel and secretary at The Penn Mutual Insurance Company in Philadelphia. He manages the law department and the delivery of legal services by outside counsel. Mr. Best provides general legal assistance to all areas of the company including governmental affairs, corporate governance and board issues for Penn Mutual and its subsidiaries. He is the past president of the International Claims Association and an author of leading treatises on life insurance issues.


Thomas E.(Ted) Dunlap
RTI Group LLC

Thomas E.(Ted) Dunlap is the general counsel and director of client relations at RTI Forensics in Annapolis, Maryland. Previously, Mr. Dunlap was in private practice at Budow and Noble, and Niles, Barton & Wilmer, where he concentrated his practice on civil litigation and coverage matters, assisting a wide variety of clients with maritime, aviation, product liability, general liability, commercial, and construction issues.

Amy Mass currently serves as Vice President & Counsel for The Hanover Insurance Group in the Office of General Counsel in Howell, Michigan. She is responsible for property and casualty legal support, government affairs, and regulatory matters for the Midwest region.


Marieta V. Velikova, PhD

Marieta V. Velikova, PhD, received her undergraduate degree from the People's Friendship University of Russia. Her M.A. in Financial Economics and Ph.D. in Applied Economics were both earned at Mississippi State University. She teaches economics and international business courses in both graduate and undergraduate business programs at Belmont University's Jack C. Massey College of Business. She is a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce as well as Global Chamber that allows her not only to be current in the classroom, but better understand business applications. In addition, she serves on the board of directors for Sister Cities Nashville and advisory board for Tennessee World Affairs Council.


D. Lee Warren, PhD, CPA
Associate Professor of Accounting
Jack C. Massey College of Business Belmont University

D. Lee Warren, PhD, CPA, Associate Professor of Accounting, teaches undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University. After receiving her B.A. from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and her M.B.A. from Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management, Dr. Warren held several domestic and international positions at Cummins Engine Company. She then entered the financial services industry, serving as CFO and consultant for BMR Financial Group in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia and taught at Boston College before coming to Belmont University in 1998. She served as Associate Dean of the Jack C. Massey College of Business from 2002 through 2004 and has chaired various university and college committees during her years at Belmont University. She is active in AACSB International and the American Accounting Association. Dr. Warren received the Bea Sanders AICPA Award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the Most Innovative Accounting Course in the Introductory Sequence - Honorable Mention in 2007.


Grady S. (Stan) York, PhD
Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Management

Grady S. (Stan) York, PhD, Assistant Professor of Management and Associate Dean of the Undergraduate School of Business, obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His M.S. in Organizational Psychology was earned at Auburn University (Montgomery, AL) and his Ed.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. York's business expertise was developed while working as the financial controller for James Hardie Building Products, CFO for Tri-City Mental Health Center and FamiliesFirst, Inc., Vice President of Administrative Operations and interim COO of Families First, Inc. and, most recently, as principal consultant to Organizational Resource Group. He has taught undergraduate courses in statistics, organizational behavior, research methods and psychology. He has been a guest lecturer at University of California, Los Angeles and the University of San Francisco. His academic experience also includes service on doctoral review committees for the California School of Professional Psychology and as the fiscal officer for the University of Tennessee College of Education, Bureau of Educational Research and Service.
