Defending Drug & Medical Device Litigation Primer
DRI’s Drug and Medical Device Litigation Primer has long been lauded by companies and outside counsel alike as the perfect training for junior defense lawyers. For only $200 for DRI members, $225 for non-members, attendees will learn in an informal classroom style from leading experts in the field about such essential topics as the applicable FDA regulations, typical claims and defenses, medical causation and epidemiology, discovery and expert witness issues and in-house counsel’s expectations. No other training is as comprehensive or cost-effective.

** Any DRI member employed as a claims professional by a corporation or insurance company, who spends a substantial portion of his or her professional time hiring or supervising outside counsel in the representation of business, insurance companies or their insureds, associations or governmental entities in civil litigation, will be entitled to free attendance at any DRI seminar.
The attendance is limited to 100 registrants. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. DRI reserves the right to limit the number of registrants who will be accepted from any one company or law firm. Please register as soon as possible. To do so, complete and return the Registration Application available on the brochure flyer to DRI at the mailing address shown on the Application. Applicants whose registrations are accepted will be notified via e-mail.
The registration fee is $200 for DRI members and $225 for non-members. Payments can be made by either credit card or by check payable to DRI. This fee covers program materials, continental breakfast, lunch and networking reception. Cancellations will be accepted by phone or in writing, but anyone requesting a refund of the registration fee must submit a written request no later than August 21, 2012. Substitutions can be made at any time without incurring a service charge. CLE will be offered at this event although approval of some states may be pending at the time of the program. The taping or recording of DRI seminars is prohibited without the written permission of DRI. Speakers and times may be subject to last-minute changes. DRI policy provides there will be no group functions sponsored by others in connection with its seminars.

No special discounts are provided for the Diversity for Success or Young Lawyers Seminars, Fidelity and Surety Roundtable, Defending Drug and Medical Device Litigation Young Lawyer Primer, the DRI Annual Meeting, or any non-CLE DRI meeting. For all other seminars, the first and second registrations from the same firm or company are subject to the fees outlined above. The registration fee for additional registrants from the same firm or company is $60 off the member rate, regardless of membership status. All registrations must be received at the same time to receive the discount.
